To mark the 75th Anniversary of VE Day, a brand new United Kingdom £2 has been authorised for release.
On 8th May 1945, Allied forces of WWII accepted the unconditional surrender of Nazi Germany. The day came to be known as Victory in Europe Day, or VE Day for short. It ultimately signalled the end of the Second World War, and was without a doubt a world-changing event.
This new 2020 VE Day Victory in Europe £2 Brilliant Uncirculated Coin Pack has been struck by The Royal Mint to a pristine Brilliant Uncirculated finish. The design captures the celebrations that took place across Britain on VE Day.
