The Royal Mint has released 26 10p coin designs. Their theme is the A to Z of Britain and each coin combines a letter of the alphabet with an aspect of quintessential Britishness.
This 10p features a line of people queuing through the letter ‘Q’, to represent the very British obligation to queue. The average adult Briton wastes five and a half hours queuing each month and overall almost six months of their life queuing.
